What are my thoughts, dreams and pursuits in this website concerning the “Descendents of Heth Hart”?

 

I am hoping that this site will bring all the descendents together in sharing information and correcting some of the errors that exist on the web. I have created the website so you can add and correct information on the site. This is a new effort and working with websites may result in some challenges so be patient! For others to submit information you will need to let me know so I can set that process up for yourself. I would like to set up a page as well for those would like to list their names and contact information as well as which branch they are descended from.

 

I have to admit I have a great love for old photos, and hoping to uncover as many as possible and include them on this site as well.

 

One of my great hopes is to plan a “Descendents of Heth Hart” Reunion and the best place I can think of to do so would be in Highland County, Ohio. In 2000 I brought over 350 people together for the first time in a family reunion on my Blair side. Most of us had never met and there were many that were 4th and 5th cousins, and yet it was one of the highlights of my life. We spent time visiting old homesteads and cemeteries as well as having the big day! Lots of organization and local help in that reunion, and I would love to see the same thing happen as we pursue Hart descendents.
